Pamplemousse

If there is one thing I love in life …. it is Sundays ! On Sunday it is officially ok to be damn lazy and to do nothing !  And , more than anything it is ok to be depressed because the week end is almost over, and therefore to seek some comfort into a huge brunch ! It is the day when, complex free, I eat some eggs benedict and pancakes at 3 pm, washed down with a Bloody Mary ! Best hangover cure EVER !

 

I am definitely not yet an expert in brunch in Singapore,but at least I can talk about the ones I know.

Today it is  : Pamplemousse Bistrot + Bar @ Dempsey.

I went there by chance a while ago. I don't really know why we got in, cause the brunch menu is so small, it seems that there is much better options in Dempsey. But one of the client stepping out told us it was delicious … so be it !

 

We tried Egg Benedictes ($18) and Egg in Cocotte ($22) … and that was a miracle ! Both are absolutely delicious, with honours for my Eggs Cocotte, with porto and cooked fois gras ! Gustative Orgasm ! Washed with a glass of Moscato, it was just perfect !

 

And, unusual enough to mention : the staff was very nice, smiley and helpful.
